Maxisys 906bt VCI v100 not connecting and steady whine.

       My replacement vci does not connect to a vehicle, or to the tablet. When I connect to a vehicle, or connect to the tablet via USB, the VCI powers on but makes a constant whining noise. The power light is red //edit: light is amber, not red// , and the other two are blue. Has anybody had this issue and found a solution? Thank you.

     Connect the VCI 100 to the tablet by the USB cable.Click the VCI App and update the VCI firmware to the latest level. An internet connection and likely an active update subscription will be required to do so.
